Cupids Creation Poem by Johnathan Todd

Cupids Creation

Good decisions turned bad, Great things you thought you had, slip through fingers like grains of sand, happiness to sad by losing your hand, strong desires for that I can't reach, losing thought on all I preach, mind close to breaking silence, world hiding within violence, holding back yet it shows, like every thorn upon the rose, my life is spiraling, like the train derailed, and yet I'm lost, like the ship I've sailed, The voice that guides and fears I hide, hold back my better side, Ruined by a love, that only cupid could create, led my heart from love to hate....
