(From beyond time)

Curled

Curled by your side
I fall into sleep
Wings touch my soul
So tenderly
Like an angels breath
I feel your life
Pulsing against my cheek
A lullaby so soft

Waking hours slide
Past so swiftly
Multi-colours drift into one
Kaleidoscope
Ever turning memories
Flicker like candles
Placed upon a windowsill
A beacon shining

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
