Like the mighty river floweth,
As it charges toward the sea,
My words of love expand for you,
As your patience does for me.

Their currents flow and cover me,
As they swirl within my heart.
Gaining strength on every downhill stretch,
Moving obstacles far apart.

Refreshing and always welcome,
Carrying all my ills away,
With thoughts of you left in their place,
That are forever there to stay.

They bubble to the surface,
And enjoy this exciting ride.
They speak of the wonder that will be,
As inside my heart you hide.

The easiest thing I ever had to do,
Was take the plunge to fall in love with you!
I thank the Heavens when I look above,
For leading me to your Currents Of Love!
