Curse Of Loneliness Poem by Jacqui Broad

Curse Of Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

To care, but not being cared for...
To love, but not being loved...
To laugh, but not sharing the laughter...
To shine, but not sharing the light...
To give, but not being given to...
To ache, but not being ached for...
This is the curse of being alone -
To be thrown by stone...

Excellent poem, so true, straight from the heart. I, myself know loneliness, but until today had no words to describe it. My heart goes out to you, loneliness is a thief who should not rob anyone one with a wonderful heart like yours. This poem show such great passion, the longing of a suffering heart filled with abundant compassion to share with those who are equal. May the good Lord bless you with good company. Sincerely kara

As said by Shakespeare and felt by Emily Dickensen as life lead my Chorlette Bronte - True always ends in tragedy! Good flow of thoughts from your eternal castle - soul which can make hall of the fame one day! Just open the door and wait for success to greet. Anyway right now take my simple greeting. Shalom! (Good night) :) :) :) :) :)

Really good, to love and not to be loved back, must be hard. But the person who did not love back is the one who is alone. Good write.

Ah, but to bask in solitude has always been a noble desire, ha, perhaps only in my eyes. It is companionship, that we all seek, but where do we find such a thing? Very thought provoking writing.
