CURSED IS LOVE FOR YOUR SAKE

So it was said of the
Passing away of our
Love songs, I never knew
It was all but shadows

And shalttered dreams.I
Forfeit my breath for
It, when I wept with tears
And thoughts of love for

You.I gave you my heart,
Yet you fled, and flirt
With what is min, leaving
Me perplexed, and helpless.

Now I cursed love for your
Sake, to save my heart, and
The tongue which once
Cherished, and cheered

Your names, now spiting
On ït, I cursed love
This very day for your
Sake
