Curtains For The Window Poem by Laurin J. Mottle

Curtains For The Window

Rating: 3.2

You like the curtains drawn, you hate the sun in morning
I like the curtains open, I love to wake in sunlight Every night you leave them open and I get up to close them
You appreciate my thoughts and say you don’t care, but I know the truth
You like the curtains drawn
I still like the curtains open, but the sun is up all day So we sleep with curtains drawn
I don’t really mind because you always make me dinner
