Cydney

this one is about a girl named cydney
all she really wanted was to be set free

but instead she fell in love which chained her up
everyone loves her but she would much rather cry and curl up

late at night she lies awake
thinking back on every mistake

another night she spends alone
holding the bear you gave her, wondering about the unknown

without his touch she feels so cold
she prays every night that you were there to hold

the past and love runs threw her veins
only the thought of you remains

her writings and music is her only escape
and she promises that it was only a scrape

she lost every thing and lost her trust
you in her life is defiantly a must

still cant seem to get enough of you
you were suppose to come back but your way overdue

its hard to get her to truly laugh
she ran the whole race but you only ran half

thanks to you shes hurt from the inside
even though she looks perfectly fine from the outside

admit you love her already so she can be happy
she needs you again and thats a guarantee

her arms are weak and hands are shaking
everytime she sees you he heart is breaking

come at her with all you got
because her chances with you couldnt be shot

so help her heal the heart that you cracked
tell her you love her because i promise she loves you back

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
