Dad, Poor Dad Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Dad, Poor Dad

Rating: 3.5

Dad poor dad

My poor dad
You were looked dead
But I could do nothing
The trader had hurled at you so much devastating thing

I accompanied him to that shop owner
We were to pay some debt to propriter
Father was not in position to clear completely
So he carried some money and promised rest to pay regularly

The shopowner was hot headed
So many abusive words were used
"why did you take it on lo loan"
If you were not worthy to take it in possession

I gave fill marks to father
I can't show anger at his behavior
He told me with an apologetic sign
But I shall pay him and clear line

My elder brother had got married
So some loan was burdened
I saw in his eyes a "real old man"
My poor dad and real gentleman

This is heart breaking! I can feel the pain in heart over your wonderful father. I too loved my dad very much and he also struggled over money problems. Loved this heart felt and touching poem. 27 Jun by laura duran to Dad, poor dad
