Daily Chore

  Well we never speak anymore
No, we’re just killin’ silence
We never talk like before
No, its just verbal violence.
Little comments and remarks
Only said out of spite
No-one backs down
We’re both always right.

No playful comic spats
Where a smile always prevails
We’ve become two old foes
Taking two different trails

Well its time for this to end
What’s the point anymore
When all our conversations
Become but a chore.
