Damn It My Lord Jesus Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Damn It My Lord Jesus

We all have heard the Bible stories when we were little folk.
About our hero Jesus and the devil, Preachers told.
It's how we go to Heaven by following God's light.
Now every time I hurt myself, Jesus comes to mind.

Damn it my lord Jesus, Damn it all to Hell!
Why is it when I hurt myself, Jesus is what I yell?
I'll never get to Heaven if I keep on cursing my Damn self.
Maybe if I shut my mouth, Jesus won't come out.

We all have that one neighbor who is always borrowing stuff.
I never see my things again, and Jesus that's enough!
It's not that I don't want to be so very nice and kind.
But every time I see this guy, Jesus comes to mind.

Damn it my lord Jesus, Damn it all to Hell.
Why can't you teach my neighbor to fend for his damn self.
It's not that I don't want to be living my life right.
Sometimes it's hard to be like you with users in my life.

Here we go again with all these damn red lights.
I know it's a conspiracy so tickets cops can write.
Not one of them is synchronized and it makes people uptight.
What the Hell is wrong with Lockport, can't they do it right?

Damn it my lord Jesus, Damn it all to Hell.
Driving these damn city roads are shaking me as well.
I'm sorry for my anger but I've really had enough.
This city is a crap hole not paying for my truck.

One last Jesus Christ, for the town of Newfane dumping grounds.
Why don't you clean these junkyards up, and tear these slum homes down?
The ghetto you are allowing is making Olcott look like Hell.
Jesus Christ, I'm sick of this, 'good old boy kind of town! '

Damn it my lord Jesus, Damn it all to Hell.
It must be nice to do nothing and get paid for it so well.
The taxes keep on going up, but my street still looks like Hell.
Damn it for bad people only thinking of them self.

Now my rant is over and I thank you Jesus Christ.
Your name might make it possible for something to go right.
I know it's bad to curse them out, I hope you realize.
Sometimes people only listen; When you, Jesus Christ!
