Dance Poem by Gary Hembree

Dance

Rating: 4.5

Dance dance into the night, hold me tight hold me close.
Never let loose never let go.
Scream and shout 'I love you, ' until our voices give way.
Cry with me but not tears of sorrow yet tears of joy.
Sit with me under the tree, until we ourselves grow roots.
Because nothing else matters as long as I have you and you have me.

For a while, I too got into the rhythm of your dance. Thanks. 'Sit with me under the tree, until we ourselves grow roots. Because nothing else matters as long as I have you and you have me.' - Very well said!
