Dance To Life Poem by Serah Donald Mbachu

Dance To Life

To life's beat, we will dance,
to its rhythm, and hum its rhyme,
and sing, to its aching and cheerful hymns,
to its sufferings' and luxuries' ends,
to life's uneven duo, all will dance.

All must dance to its entrance and exit,
from rosey crib to darkened casket,
from mother's womb, to hallow tomb,
on life's thorny-rosey bed, surely all must dance.

To life's ill and good, all will dance.

Some will Quit, before learning its steps,
some will grow weary, some triumph.
some'll exit, before gracing its entrance,
life's tale, they never will tell.
And them grown old, triumphed or succumbed,
shall life's tale, till death tell.

And dance we must, to life's different tones,
when harmonic, or worse than broken chord.
To life's rainy and sunny days, we'll dance,
as fate and Karma shall play their role.
From Infantry, till adult grown,
to life we'll dance, till life is blown,
I and you, To life's tone will dance.
