Dance With Me Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Dance With Me

I’m so happy you can dance with me
and as we move to this wonderful song
we’ve never understood each other
more than we did as we sway along.

If you danced with my love
I know you would love her too
her sweet temper, her humble face
there’s nothing I’d rather have but her.

To dance with her is a piece of heaven
and nobody shall take my place
in front of her and holding her close
I’m so glad I fell in love with her.

I’m so happy that she danced with me
if you knew my love you’d love her too
but somebody else then took her from me
now I’m unhappy dancing all alone.
