Dancing With The Lies Poem by Sandra Feldman

Dancing With The Lies

Rating: 5.0

Dancing with the Devil,
Eating crisps or fries,
All politicians,
Only tell you lies.

Dancing a Fandango,
Up and down the aisles,
Elections are excuses,
For telling bigger Lies.

Epilogue
The Dirty Dance of Politics has reached its saturation,
Now we are as Rotten, as any other nation.

Oh, the travails of western-style democracy! Oh, the failure of western-style democracy! The ancient Athenians invented it and they were a slave state. The USA invented the modern model in the early 19th c. and they were a slave state. Oh, vexed question! Wake me up when the election year is over, and if a Republican got elected, keep it to yourself. Obla-dee, Obla-da, Life goes on, lalalalala! (I didn't do it!)

They get away with it. That is why they continue. One term limits, and a test voters need to pass, proving they're smarter than a 5th grader before allowed into the booth : -)
