Dark And Awake Poem by Brynn Bettin

Dark And Awake

Dark and twisted the hallway churns
As demons reap the land of its fate
As the chalice of faith lie dead into hate
The people go on to the palace to wait
For when the hallway stands a still
There is no way to summon the will
That fire consumes and water drowns
To keep out of sight till the fear rebounds
