Dark Skies Poem by Travis Evans

Dark Skies

Here I lay all alone and cold
My body decaying and turning to mold
My heart is lost forever
Well beyond when I am old

I can never let go
I can never move on
But I can no longer hang
I shall drop without a bang

No more fireworks in the sky
Only darkness remains
It is here I will lay
Until the day I die

I am so sorry, Travis. Your poem expresses your pain well. I fully understand. (My wife left and married my brother) Peace
