Dark Veil Poem by Anthony Daniels

Dark Veil

I lurk the halls of life with my entire face covered by a dark veil.
It's silk offers protection from those things that go bump in the night as well as the day.

The ugly ugly harsh reality of truth that lies outside of the walls of safety town what else can you do when those walls come tumbling down all around.

You hide within your own realm burying your face into your knees allowing the veil to shield you from the world full of liars and thieves.
