Darkly
by: Taylor Donnelly

your mysterious
which makes me delirious
you creep around in the dark
surrounded by a false spark
lights that dance when you linger here
but your just caught in the headlights dear

i whisper to the silence i beckon your closer, closer to me
my perfume hangs in the air
your mind caught in warfare
Your staring at me
cant think clearly

the smoke from our bodies lingers on the dance floor
you look me over like I'm your savior
lets save our selves and let it be
one night, one bed, one more body

your not cold but dark still
I'm under your will
but only as long as it benefits me
in my foggy memory i think of you fondly
laying next to me
calling to the saints
no longer bond to social restraints
i think of you fondly I'd know you in the dark
