Hiding shadows
Slither around
The sliest movements
The slightest sound

Monsters are hiding
On your inside
Trying to break through
You lose the fight

Darkness takes over
And pulls you under
Feeling, tasting, touching pain
The ones we loved are lost in vain

Those who are here
Those who are alive
Are being eaten
On the inside

Darkness is here
Will always be
Enveloping you in its mystery
Its been that way for centuries

The Light of Night
