Darkness Sings Poem by Briana Knight

Darkness Sings

Rating: 4.0

Sweet as trembling waters.
Voice soft as silk, it desires.
Coaxing our fears and keeping our tears.
It Calls
To that reckless part of us.
The side that wishes not to reason.
The side that feels alone.
It promises
Comfort in the night
Absolutly no light.
Someone to hold along with cold.
It caresses
it's fingers stun you, making you lost with no desire to be found.
Feeling nothing. The cold leaves a gruesome mark.
Stealing the very beat of your heart.
Darkness sings.
