Day Care Children Poem by Joyce K. Remy

Day Care Children

I have a house fill of children.
from morning till night
To be a Day Care Sitter..
Oh I pray I do it right
To balance love and discipline...
oh, what a plight
To give each one love and attention
from morning till night.

Some ask why I do it
Good question this is true
For you see the days without them
always seem so blue

Even thought they jump and scream
and play so noisily
Through the eyes of these children
I see how life should be

I love each and everyone
for what they teach me.
I thank God every night
for bringing them to me.
