Daybreak~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Daybreak~

Rating: 5.0

Alas, sunsets of vermillion poppies pass too quickly
As breaking nigh-a Blueberry Dawn
All fresh-faced in cloudless blankets
Comes the sun dressed in her lemon yellow gown;
The meadow larks sweet choir teases us-gloriously
As daylight opens up her beautiful eyes
Visuals can be seen for miles and miles
Through the Blueberries deepest of skies;
Magical time frames of sheer wonder
Embrace Mother Earth's sublime divinity
Wrapping her up in wonderous splendour
For but, a mere, Eternity;
