Daydream Poem by Aidan Clevinger

Daydream

These Colorado stars are brightly gleaming
While the dust through the hills is silently streaming
And I wonder: is it of me tonight you're dreaming?

Of you, my dear, I couldn't be fonder,
But my feelings I don't wish to squander,
Do you come my way when your thoughts start to wander?

When we're apart, do things look blue?
Do you dream of us together, just we two?
I must confess I feel this for you.
