Daydream Poem by Siddic Nagdee

Daydream

Here I am, my psyche in search for peace,
In calmness as often embarked in a dream.
A dream often imagined the corrolate of night,
but this in day, a daydream of delight.

Of fantasy thoughts focussed far way,
on a morning to absorb a minds reflection.
The sun glowing bright of mighty ray,
In comfort and leasure focussing the day.

The whining birds singing out of tune.
My eyelids winking in glare to seek.
Thinking of nothing else in care,
besides the sound of their enraged stare.

And then a sudden sound of silence,
disturbance in movement of my hand.
Sweet fly away of a disturbed flock,
their fun broken by a sudden shock.

Friendliness and fun is all they hunted,
Stillness in feathers of their pride.
My calmness once again returns,
Without humming of flocks in sight.

In closing my eyes I felt remorse,
a daydream that caused others to distance.
Slowly peace and calmness returns,
as a new breed of flock makes appearence.

My silence sings to me this time,
carefully keeping still my eyes.
In this the fun morning of the day,
peace, lovely in comfort to follow the way.
