Daydream Poem by Fae Sebastian

Daydream

To many, daydreaming is a horrible crime
They say it makes you too wishful
Makes you turn blind
And it makes you idle
In body, mind, and spirit
Turns your hands to stone
And your feet to lead
They say it makes you useless
In just about every way
But to me
To the people around me
Daydreaming is the best part of life
It erases any problems you may have
Makes you hope for a better tomorrow
Maybe even tells you what you want to do
It brings back imagination
Brings fun and excitement to everyday life
Daydreaming turns everything to sunshine
When life may be filled with clouds and rain
So despite what others may say
How terrible daydreaming may be
Each and every day
I’ll always make the time for it
