Days Of Her Childhood

And so did the days turned into months
And months into years
Every summer we hugged each other
We said our goodbyes
With a promise to meet up for next Christmas
Somehow that wait, count down of days
Pulled us through the harshest of Life
That hope brought us closer every time

Then again, she is all grown up now
Days of cuddling are long gone
I missed out a great deal on her childhood days
