Days Past
my mousey hair
has turned to gray
my looks have faded
you didn't stay
my body is older
and my scars are deep
i slowly changed
and your love began to seep
time flew by
the talk wasn't real
i accepted the change
that you didn't feel
the moments we had
changed to days
the love we shared
soon began to fade
you moved on
for the moment i stayed
you looked ahead
to a good looking day
