My emotions seem to have
Taken charge of my life unexpectedly
And I fail to understand its cause
I wonder why my tears are flowing
I wonder my heart is throbbing
I wonder why I can’t stop it.
My wounds are bleeding,
They are sore and cause excruciating pain
I am unaware of the ordnance that has struck me.
And unaware of its antidote
I feel lost, confused about my feelings,
Wishing to find a channel to discover myself
Trying to resolve issues with my own emotions
Wishing for loving hands to shore up
And soothe my miffed heart
And my washed out eyes
