Dead Star Poem by Anomalistically Correct ,

Dead Star

Through the haze of the Milky-Way's
And fields showering stone
In the night sky many things lie
But to me only two are well known

Dead Star at night you're such a delight
And with you one day I'll go home
First for my crime I must finish my time
Then together forever we'll roam

The Red Moon had lied the night I had died
And things did not go as planned
I was denied because my suicide
Was a crime for which I am now damned

But forget I will not the release I had sought
For the pain only grows by each day
The angels all sighed but inside I died
When I learned in this life I must stay

So Dead Star you see if it were to me
Then dead I would be as well
GOD knows I tried but I was denied
And sentenced to this living hell

Perhaps then one day from the angels I pray
Forgiveness will free my lost soul
Until that time comes under many sad suns
Dead through this life I will stroll.

I quite like the clever use of rhyme in this...and definately thought the subject was thought provoking...a really good piece with great emotions...nice work.
