Deadicated Poem by Nia Schexnider

Deadicated

I am a paper to be written on.
I am a rug to dry your feet.
I am a blanket to keep you warm,
and a pillow for your seat.

I am the thunder after the lightening.
I am the cup that holds your water.
I am the roof for your house.
and the hand that holds yours.

Look at me like I am a sight to see.
Tell me you love me.
say you'll stay forever.
then leave me here, to love nobody else... ever.
