Deaf Dumb And Blind Poem by Deci Hernandez

Deaf Dumb And Blind

Well i'm not deaf dumb or blind
But i play the parts sometimes
i think thoughts in my head and
Often ask why
If my thought comes from my mind
Does that leave my heart dry
And if i act from my heart
Why in the morning is my breath
But a sigh

i will play the fool and never mind
i will play a tool for destruction
And at the sight of play i will play
Ten fold
i will never mind the morning when my
Heart and mind groan i will
Never mind the part i wasted my wages
For fools gold i know my
Partners call this life but i
See all the same deaf dumb and blind
i call it a bluff life

What then can i call life
What then can i call mine
If all my life is but a slave to the play
And all of play is never minding
Tortured slaves
Shadows tell me never mind
But the slave i am one the same

Lord may i wake up and never
Play deaf dumb or blind as i
Did yesterday
Also Lord i have much debt
Is there any way you can pay my way
Also Lord i have crippled my soul
Is there any way you can give me strength
Also Lord i don't know love
Is there any way you can teach me some
