Dear '_______'

When I look at you, I see right through
All the pathetic lies that now make you, you
When will you learn, when will you try
Life is not waiting its passing you by
How many times must you fall?
Before you see that, you have lost it all
When you were down, I spoke to you
And yet you heard not a sound
I found you when you were broken
When you finally hit the ground
I took you in and betrayal is what I found
I have done all I could I have thrown in the towel
And now I have a pain inside that makes me feel fowl
I miss what once was, I miss my friend
You have hurt me so bad I’m still on the mend
But here I am again praying there will be an end
Because there is no way, I could ever replace my best friend
I have seen you at your best and now at your worst
And I will be damned if I see you in a Hearse
So count yourself cursed
cause I’ll stand by your side until the day I die first

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
