Dear friend I know I'll miss you
more than words can say.
Dear friend my door is open,
will forever be that way.
I know these times constrict you
complicate your life.
But dear friend we are here waiting
until the time is right.
I know my heart is saddened
by the loss of you in my life
I pray the time is short spent
you'll come back to us one night.
Dear friend take this with you,
to remember when you're not sure.
That there are two of us loving and missing
A dear friend who's lost and hurt.
