Dear God where are you?
I looked up at the sky one sad painful day Through my darkness anger and pain I saw Beautiful hues of blissful blues Clouds Billowing like Sheets of silken dreams Vanilla ice cream swirls of cotton candy I could almost taste yet not touch Unreachable untouchable So out of reach Where are you? I silently screamed You said you would always be here Yet I do not see you Dear God where are you?
I closed my eyes stood on my toes and reached out I Prayed Dear god, help me I Whispered Dear god, forgive me I Cried and begged Dear god, love me, for I will always be your child
Swaying in the breeze feeling the winds sweep through my hair To my ears came a sweet melody making my heart dance with joy Then from a parting in the clouds came the hand of god I witnessed it beckoning to me reassuring and so softening I took his hand and sat upon a cloud and he enveloped me Soothing energising and exhilarating Touching caressing my entire being And in his softness and warmth I felt wanted and loved found forgiveness I found him for he lives in my heart and not in the clouds
I dedicate this poem to everyone who is looking for God…. Look deep within your heart for you will find him
