Dear Liberty Poem by Phinda Mkhonta

Dear Liberty

Rating: 3.5

Dear liberty
Before we forget you as our master and role model
Tell us not to forget you for you have dedication of every soul,
When democracy is pruned, when the bill of right is banned,
The recipe is incomplete in the sapper table of peace in your absence,
We will live the incomplete table to hurt for you in the jungles of darkness

There is less here than there should be. Not in terms of the idea, but in its expression. It never quite finds itself in this piece. GW62
