Dear Reader, Poem by Vanessa Stallings

Dear Reader,

In twilight's embrace, let me weave a gentle rhyme,
A poetic tapestry to grace this moment in time.
With words as paintbrushes and thoughts ablaze,
I'll conjure verses that dance through your gaze.

Upon the canvas of my mind, colors cascade,
In hues of love, loss, joy, and serenade.
Lines intertwine like vines climbing alabaster walls,
Whispering secrets only poetry enthralls.

Let me sketch nature's splendor with flowing ink,
The sunsets' golden blaze and moonlit mystique.
Mountains reaching towards celestial expanse,
As rivers mirror stars in an ethereal trance.

Through stanzas woven with tender caress,
Unfolding tales of hearts' turmoil, excess.
Embrace eternity's elixir on evanescent wings,
Immersed in reality, yet dreams the heart sings.

Feel fickle winds, their whispers softly confer,
Hopeful melodies floating amidst life's blur.
Words shall mend wounds and soothe weary souls,
Igniting passion as inspiration unfolds.

For you, dear reader, I pen this gift so rare,
A symphony of verses, crafted with utmost care.
May these lines elevate your spirit anew,
Awakening dormant dreams within you.

So, read my words, dear friend, let them impart,
Fragments of emotions, etched onto your heart.
Together we journey, chasing fleeting rhyme,
Lost in the enchantment of this shared lifetime.
