Death Poem by Bas Goutziers

Death

Death lays close to us all
It will devour us all
one by one we will vanish
disappear from this earth
to never return to our beloved

Death is the pain and relief in us all
you're relieved
Relieved that one no longer suffers
You suffer as one is no longer here

as you get to hear one doesn't live for longer
the suffering starts so does the pain
The pain is the worst
Pain can devour you
Get you into a darker place
Dark places hard to return from
To rise above again cost efford

rise above to find your beloved
To find that one who will help
Help you get yourself together
There will always be that one person
More important than the rest

Tumors infested in her brains
It's killing her slowly
Every day is a blessing
The blessing of living another day
Waiting is what we do
Wait untill that single day that dark day

Death a powerfull thing
I've seen death and it' mercyless
It will kill everybody you love
and eventually comes for you to end it all
