Death Can Save Us All. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Death Can Save Us All.

Rating: 5.0

This world is a big prison
With high surrounding walls.
We're trapped,
We're strapped,
There's no way out.
Except by death.
By execution.
By suicide.
Death is our Savior, our Liberator.
No other way out.
This world is a big prison
With high surrounding walls.
Enjoyed by a few.
Who swim in troubled water.
They swim in it like fish.
They're slippery like fish.
They don't give a damn
What happens to you,
To me.To them,
It's only a game.
They don't give a damn
As long as they have us
Under control.
This world is a big prison
With high surrounding walls.
Loathed by most.
Who breathe its poisoned air.
Who live on its fouled food.
Who see little good
In the conditional freedom
They're allowed
By the little few
Who take the whole view.
This world is a big prison
With high surrounding walls.
All in all,
Only death can break the walls
And free us from it all.

The life is not easy to live. Only our relationships with God that relieve the daily tough problem. Thank you for sharing,

Birth and death are two definite destinations in every human's life and there is no escape from the later. That way death liberates a human from all worldly things. However, between birth and death there is an expanse called life and it is necessary for every one to live it meaningfully and struggle for improvisation, where ever necessary and overcome obstacles. Otherwise, what is the use of thinking power, intelligence and other skills gifted to human by the Creator? One must have optimistic approach and shun pessimism. Thanks for sharing thought provoking poem.10 points.
