Death Note Poem by Quiana Souder

Death Note

I used to walk a shallow path
One that I took alone
Wondering will they miss me
Miss me when I'm gone
A few minutes later I stood at a destination
Asking god why was I one of his creations
Then I stepped closer on the side of the bridge
And cried my eyes out as I peered over the edge
I promised your love is what I'd keep
But I'd leave everything else behind
So you'll never ever forget me
I'm sorry everything I did was wrong
I just felt as if I couldn't go on
I apologize that I couldn't past life's test
Now I lay in a peaceful rest
With sweet serenity
Because the rivers rushing waters were so kind to me
