Death of Romance

Your beauty is undeniable
Your Grace is undefiable
and when I look into your eyes
all I see hateful lies and cries

I know when you lie and cheat
and think of other guys, I know I can't compete
your always in another world, dreamiing of some fantasy
even when you cried with me, layed with me

All the promises you've said
just to come back and say lets just be friends
That was a LIE, just like all the other ones

When I saw you in public I could not believe my eyes
you were with another guy
did you forget what you said?

Remember all the lies when you cried with me
layed with me, you said you would die for me
LIES

But I died for you!

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
