Death Takes Its Hold Poem by Symantha Jacobs

Death Takes Its Hold

As the walls close around us
And the lies fill our ears
We hear the cries of our past
And we lose our sight fast
We might be saved
But our grave is too deep
And soon we fall asleep
our breathe becomes cold
As death takes its hold
