Death Was Upon Us. Nature Poem by alan brown

Death Was Upon Us. Nature

The Sun rose above the hallowed ground
As the Hawk hovered effortlessly above its pray.
Bush and Flower came to life as the stones of time stood upright.
Death had been the hour of the day
As the mourners' filtered out of the age old yard.
Silence became the order of the day
Death was upon us.
As nature regained is hold on the soles laid within.
