Debt

Life is but an endless owing.

Mother I owe you life
Debtor I owe you money
Girl I owe you love
Weather you owe me sunny

Soul I owe you fulfillment
Heart I owe you content
Brain I owe you knowledge
Enemy I owe you contempt

We all pay our debts someday
Death will reap our debt anyway

To war and arms I fly.

True, a new mistress now I chase,
