Deciphering The Code Within My Heart Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Deciphering The Code Within My Heart

Tearing the pages of this heart
Well, Not all of them
Just the frozen ones
Those that are stuck together by misery
Paradoxes written in cold blood

Taking control of this very heart
So it can mend for good
Never becoming lost again
Beating in great harmony
Amongst dreams worth living for

This heart screams out loud

No more confusion this heart says
Put that mind as ease
May your soul find prosperity
As everything works in great harmony

Let us unify, this heart says
You cannot live life with one
As this heart, mind and soul together
Shall all decide what is best for you

Taking everything in

Got to write new chapters within this heart
Creating a never ending novel of hope
Wishes fulfilled by saying I am, I will, I can
As these thoughts build up this soul's newly found faith

Anxiety is a curse
But it is one that can be broken
Relaxing the best that I can
While never missing a moment ever again

I have worked so hard for love in the past

There is my problem
Got to let it all flow
Try and try again
Though I have been rejected so many times
Someday I have to believe there will be a, Yes

Patience is what I should have
Well, So far its growing
Becoming stronger than it ever has
So there you go
It's been a blessing

Make no mistake though
I am not pleading for anything
What shall come shall come
But I know all will be alright

So far I have deciphered the code of my heart
Now I must let it be deciphered by someone else
I am so afraid to open up again
But I have to, for my heart's own wellbeing

Love can grow in more ways than one
Just got to live life happy go lucky

I may be very different
But that is ok with my heart and me
