Decisions, Decisions Poem by Angelic Warrior

Decisions, Decisions

Rating: 0.5

Standing at a crossroad
I don't know which way to go.
Right,
or left,
or anyway,
would suit me to the finish line.

The scarecrow points this way,
then he points that.
How confusing it is when hes just a hay filled sack.

Who do you believe
in this mayhem world?
The cat? The rabbit? or The scurrying squirrel?

Some say right,
some say wrong
Decisions, Decisions
Just hope that they'll never land you in prison.

The important ones are the hardest to make
for they determine whether you survive,
or break.

Just remember all the wile,
that the mad hatter lost his brain
and Treshire is a trickster untamed.

So whether you tumble down a rabbit hole,
or twisted to the land of Oz,
decisions make us who we are,
and if dangerous missions will take you far.

(I had an urge to write something with Alice in wonderland and the Wizard of Oz......there too of my favorites.......i thought it would be cool......idk....) :)

I love the references to the two stories. Wizard of OZ is one of my all time favorites. You have a very deep insight young lady. As most true poets do for we are born with it. You have such great promise I am so excited for you. Your friend, Susan
