Decisions Made Poem by Carol Imbasciati

Decisions Made

Fighting words with words,
But the aggressive spirit feels unrewarded,
Sanctioned by the value of duality to change course,
To represent a greater whole other than himself
It was all over but the signature,
So such a reversal of methods felt jarring at first,
Leading to a lack of personal security
Left free to be completely unfiltered in expressing negative consequence,
No longer concerned with his own well-being,
He ventures forward into what troubles humankind the most,
Which remains the fear of being mocked by decisions made
