Decrepitency Poem by Atticus Mortimer

Decrepitency

Darkness falls,

I stand waiting,

This light I have slowly slips away,

I smile though inside I despair,

Silence is all I hear,

Not a scream nor a whisper,

No pain nor suffering,

No sense of anything except memories,

As I plunge into this dark,

And I am happy for it.
