Deep Poem by Drew Fleet

Deep

You melt my insides
Words do hurt
Power deceives you
I am down indeed
Like water from a furnace
I cry inside
And die inside
The sun, I drink your spit
Your spite
Because you are the same
Say it again
You are the same
I agree
But regret
But agree
All the scars gained
The love lost
But I need it all no longer
I love myself
Let me go make love to myself
