Listen to me girl, because I think you know me well...
Well enough to see inside of me...
With everything you've given me, I'm sure that you can tell...
You're all I am, and everything I'll be...

The years have come and gone, and the time that I've known you...
You've seen in me, what others fail to find...
Your eyes must have a quality beyond beauty, and do...
Have a way to see what's on my mind...

Maybe it's just because you know, what's there inside my heart...
Sometimes you know too well, for your own good...
But you know what the feelings are, I've had them from the start...
I've tried to show you, every way I could...

I've loved, and tried to show the love, so deep inside the man...
Bring it to the surface into view...
I hope that I have told you, but if not, I know I can...
And never tire of saying, 'I love you'...

My life would have no meaning, no hope of days or years...
Without the one who causes me to see...
The sorrow cannot have it's way, you end all of the tears...
That were there, before you came to me...

Came and changed my love, and life, gave back to me my smile...
Took away the restless heart inside...
Rearranged for me my love, the length of every mile...
We've traveled hand in hand, and side by side...

What could I now hope to be, would I end up without...
The saving grace that now surrounds our love...
I'd be where I could see the world, and all the bitter doubt...
And see the things I've been a victim of...

You changed the world for me, when I looked into your eyes...

Believed that there's no reason now, for all those sad goodbyes...
And survive the awful slamming of the door...

The reasons don't exist for hearts to hold inside, the sad....

Yes, this is a love song, that I now sing to you...
I know that you can hear from far away...
If there was more that I could do, I'd do those things for you...

The soul that mated with my soul, you see...
If gone, my tattered ice filled heart, would lie there on the floor...
