Defiance Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Defiance

Tho' the modern woman
pants

To disguise her gender,
Yet no fear my spirits haunts
Lest I should offend her.

Vain it were indeed to hiss-
Vainer still to chide her;
The
hit
offends her, and the
Miss

Makes the breeeches wider.
